'When shelters are built where they did not exist previously, people finally have a place to which they can bring animals which they find suffering and injured, and, being able to do so, learn to love and respect the needs and interests of the creatures in their care. KAS has saved the lives of thousands of animals since its foundation in 1993.'
- 'Thank you Animaux Secours (Arthaz, France) for providing the core funding to KAS since its inception, and to Animal Protection Network, Sweden, for funding our cat ABC and village camps in remote areas. We thank the Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI) for funding the Shelter's ABC programme. We also express our gratitude to all our other supporters who have enabled us to rescue animals, and to carry out an ABC programme, education, vaccinations of village animals, and village spay and vaccination camps.'
HIS - Our sister society in Jaipur, India.
